DALLAS, May 8, 2015 - A wholly owned division of Lennox International, Inc. (NYSE: LII), Lennox Industries, Inc., a leading provider of high-efficiency packaged rooftop units, split systems, HVAC controls, furnaces and indoor air quality products for the light commercial industry, has leased 80,000 square feet of industrial distribution space at 1100 N. 28th Avenue, DFW Airport, Texas. Lennox plans to utilize the space for receiving, storage, shipping and wholesale sales of commercial HVAC systems.
Lennox Industries enlisted Andy Anderson of ACRES, as their exclusive representative for this transaction, to locate and identify property which met Lennox’s unique needs for distribution space in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
"The Lennox assignment presented challenges from the start," said Anderson. "Their timing was immediate and Lennox required a large outside storage component. Many municipalities across Dallas/Fort Worth are becoming stricter or even outright banning outside storage of commercial equipment and/or materials. We conducted an extensive multi-city search, located a property with the perfect balance of inside and outside storage, location and immediate availability and negotiated a long-term lease for the Lennox Commercial Business Unit."
